Hair fall is a common and distressing problem. According to Ayurveda, early hair loss is often linked to an imbalance of Pitta dosha (made worse by stress and poor diet) and poor nourishment of the scalp.

Simple DIY Home Remedies

  • Amla and Shikakai: Make a paste and apply it to the scalp to cleanse and strengthen hair roots.
  • Coconut oil and curry leaves: Heat fresh curry leaves in coconut oil until they turn crisp. Massage the cooled, infused oil into your scalp.
  • Aloe vera: Apply fresh aloe vera gel to the scalp to soothe it and help control dandruff-related hair fall.
  • Diet and sleep: Eat protein- and iron-rich foods, drink enough water and get regular sleep.

Home remedies are great for maintenance, but ongoing hair fall usually needs a more complete routine that works from both inside and outside.
